Issuance of Residence card by Renewal in Mexico

Migratory documents of Resident and Visitor issued by the INM are subject to validity time period which may be from one year up to four.

This validity will depend on the specific characteristics of each case.

What do I need to perform a Renewal procedure?

Hold one of the following valid documents:

Where can I apply for a Renewal procedure?

At the INM offices. To apply for Renewal procedure, you must visit the INM offices in person and submit your request (Instituto Nacional de Migracion).
